Choral Arts Ensemble’s concert season draws to an exhilarating close with music from some of America’s favorite composers and folk traditions. Guest conductor Matthew Culloton (photo right) will lead the singers in a program that includes traditional concert works, including Aaron Copland’s Lark and Cecil Effinger’s Four Pastorales for choir and oboe, and favorite folk songs like She’ll Be Comin’ Round the MountainThe Gift to be Simple, and Shall We Gather at the River. Also featured on the program: the premiere of a new work by Brian Holmes, the winner of our third annual CAE Commissioning Contest. Don’t miss out on one of our most exciting season finales ever!

These folks were really good!
